Ep.31 Food is Love
I think it's our responsibility to be gracious, to show gratitude. Gratitude is not in a journal, gratitude is how you show up in life towards everything that's created here.
Episode Description
In this episode, we sit down with LaRayia Gaston, founder of Lunch on Me, a non-profit dedicated to ending starvation and providing opportunities to enrich the mind, body, and spirit of LA’s homeless community. Gaston’s work focuses on giving everyone access to whole, clean food and showing us all the importance of living in gratitude through helping others. She reminds us all that food is a catalyst for love and that all human beings should have access to nourishing foods as it impacts our mind, body, and soul. This incredibly moving episode will encourage you to reflect on how you show up in the world everyday and re-examine your happiness, purpose, and connection to others.
Sakara has had the privilege of partnering with Lunch on Me to donate meals in support of LaRayia’s community. If you would like to contribute and learn about ways to give back, simply visit Lunch On Me website here.
