Last night, we celebrated our exclusive partnership (and love for the power of plants) with KORA Organics founder Miranda Kerr. We gathered for an evening of technicolor nutrition and connection alongside a few Sakaralites who inspire us most—including journalist Katie Couric, chefs Serena Poon and Candice Kumai, actress Julianne Hough, and founder Melissa Wood-Tepperberg.
Superfood spice turmeric was the inspiration for the event—from ginger-turmeric shots upon guest arrival, to bold-hued floral installations by Shean Strong, to every glorious golden detail in between.
After a cocktail hour featuring small batch tequila from Casa Dragones, organic wine from Avaline, and curated tunes by DJ Yeldā Ali, guests gathered around a lush Hawkins New York tablescape for an intimate dinner centering the transformative, healing powers of our favorite golden spice.
Crafted by our Sakara chefs, the coursed menu included dishes like Turmeric + Asparagus Toast, Roasted Baby Carrot + Charred Spring Onion Salad with creamy Turmeric Goddess Dressing, and a Golden Mylk Panna Cotta, spotlighting turmeric alongside honey- and vanilla-laced coconut milk custard and a strawberry-rhubarb compote topping.
All in all, it was a radiant night—one we’ll be cherishing for a long time.
