Your source for nourishment, inspiration, and joy

The holidays have arrived, once again! Though it tends to be a hurried blur of social events and rowdy celebrations, it’s also a beautiful moment for introspection.

It’s special to hold space and look back on the amazing year we just had and welcome a new one with open hearts and buzzing minds. To reflect on our proudest moments, the times that stretched our boundaries, and opportunities that propelled us to be better and more radiant versions of ourselves. We remember the blessings we received, the challenges we overcame, and thoughts we had years and years ago…that manifested into reality within this calendar year.

This year, Whitney is traveling to Israel and Danielle heads upstate in a cozy Airbnb with phones turned off, and lots of time in the kitchen (with the Eat Clean, Play Dirty cookbook, our 2019 manifestation!)—and it feels like a privilege to reconnect with those who matter to us most and with our creative, fluid, spiritual sides.

...To reflect on our proudest moments, the times that stretched our boundaries, and opportunities that propelled us to be more radiant versions of ourselves.

However you choose to commemorate this passage of time, we encourage you to pause and relish in how things have changed, and honor the things that remain constant and grounding. Take a deep breath, and get ready for a beautiful new decade—and go into it with an open heart, love, and trust in the universe. We can’t wait to experience it all with you.

With love + light,

Whitney & Danielle

P.S. To make sure our friends and loved ones feel nourished, our go-to for gatherings big and small is a bountiful salad with plenty of greens, fresh herbs, and colorful gems. To punch up the flavor, we love this glowy dressing that feels light and zesty thanks to bright ginger and high-quality honey.

Ginger + Turmeric Dressing

(Makes ¾ cup)

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons tahini
  • Juice of 1 ½ limes
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon roughly chopped fresh cilantro leaves
  • 2 teaspoons wildflower honey
  • ½ teaspoon Himalayan salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground turmeric

  • Directions:

  • In a blender, combine all the ingredients with ¼ cup plus 2 tablespoons of water. Blend until smooth. Taste and add more salt, if desired. The dressing can be stored in the fridge for up to five days.
